What needs to change?

When I first talk to someone considering a fitness program, I always ask two questions: What is your dream-come-true result? And what needs to change for you to achieve it?

The answers to these questions must be specific. Vague goals like “losing weight and toning” aren’t enough. Instead, aim for clear, measurable outcomes such as “losing 20 pounds and dropping two dress sizes” or “losing 10 pounds of fat and two inches off my waist.”

Similarly, the changes required to reach these goals should be just as specific. Often, our mindset and beliefs need to shift first. But today, let’s focus on concrete actions. General statements like “exercising more and eating less” won’t cut it. A better approach would be “committing to work out three days a week and including vegetables with every meal.”

So, what’s your dream-come-true result? And what specific actions need to happen for you to achieve it?

Take a moment to think about these questions and reply with as much detail as possible. I’ll help you refine your responses to make your goals more attainable.
